STATIONS FOR SPRAYING REFRACTORIES INTO FURNACES AND LADDLES

The stations to spray refractory masses inside furnaces and ladles, mainly destined to the steel industry, allow fast intervention (hot repair) without the need to employ personnel to feed the machine. When used in combination with specially designed OCMER pistol’s manipulators, they also permit to remove the nozzle man, increasing safety and making work easier.

The structures can be of different types: single or double silo, in order to store two different refractory mixtures. It is then possible to mount inside the structure machines of different sizes with effective outputs of up to 7-8 M3/h, making rapid interventions possible with consequent reduction in temperature losses. The use of large machines allows rapid interventions and represents a valid alternative to pressurized vessels.

The stations can be configured with load cells, high pressure water pump, digital litres counter, dosing unit for liquid admixtures and data recording and transmission system. These options allow complete control of the production parameters, including the amount of refractory masses projected, the percentage and temperature of the added water, the amount of admixtures and the pressure on the material during the spraying session.

The data is then recorded and can be accessed both locally and remotely via mobile devices equipped with a wi-fi connection.

The stations can carry out start-up and stop cycles automatically (a single button allows you to activate the desired cycle) as well as allowing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance operations to be carried out in a simple and safe way.
